What could be better than a summer rooftop crawl? A movie themed summer rooftop crawl that benefits the community, of course! This past August, Bishop-McCann hosted the block party portion of the third annual RISE Rooftop Crawl to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. Crawlers could roam between five exclusive rooftops in the Crossroads Art District while enjoying food, drinks, music and live entertainment.
Sticking true to Movie Night, crawlers experienced genre-themed rooftops: Comedy, Horror, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Musicals, and Action and Adventure, and after hopping between them, retired to the post-crawl block party.
At the block party after the crawl, attendees chowed down on food-truck treats, enjoyed movie themed appetizers, signature drinks and jammed out to the block party DJ. The event raised $383,000 for Big Brother Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.
